  COSPLAY COMPETITION:
  

  Unleash your creativity at the FlyFF Cosplay Competition! Bring your favorite FlyFF characters/monsters to life and showcase your incredible costumes for a chance to win exciting prizes.

  MECHANICS
  1. Fill out the form and submit a high-quality photo of your cosplay
  – Cosplay must strictly be FLYFF CHARACTERS or MOBS ONLY
  2. The date of registration is until September 30, 2024 ·
  3. Photos will be uploaded on Facebook for voting on October 1, 2024 ·
  4. Voting will only be part of the criteria. Full details of the ONSITE judging criteria is listed below
  5. The deadline for voting is October 10, 2024
  6. The submitted cosplay is to be used at the onsite competition as well. Changing of character is NOT ALLOWED
  7. Finalists will have to attend  FLYFF COS UNIVERSE Cosplay Competition where they will compete against each other for the winning title and the prize pool of 50,000 pesos!

           Costume Accuracy – 25%

• Evaluate how closely the costume matches the original character from the source material.
• Consider the accuracy of colors, patterns, accessories, and any distinctive features.
  
  Craftsmanship – 25%
• Evaluate the quality and technique of the costume construction.
• Consider the attention to detail, stitching, and overall finishing of the costume.
  
  Integrity of Design – 20%
• Evaluate the structural strength and durability of the costume, ensuring it can withstand movement and wear.
• Assess the flexibility of the costume, considering how well it allows for natural movement and comfort for the wearer.
• Consider the sturdiness of the materials used, ensuring they are robust and able to maintain the costume’s form and function.
  
  Presentation on Stage – 20%
• Evaluate the performer’s confidence, stage presence, and engagement with the audience.
• Assess the effectiveness of the performer’s movements and poses in showcasing the costume.
• Consider the creativity and originality of the performance, including any use of props, dialogue, or special effects to enhance the presentation.
  
  Audience Impact – 5%
• Evaluate the audience’s reaction to the costume and performance, including applause, cheers, and overall enthusiasm.
• Assess how well the costume and performance resonate with the audience, creating a memorable and engaging experience.
  
  Social Media Votes – 5%
• Consider the online engagement generated by the participant through likes, heart, and care reacts.
  – Each reaction will have a corresponding point.PRIZES:

FWC Tournament Mechanics:

Match Format:

• Top 8 Double Elimination
• Final Match: Best of 3
• All Other Matches: Single Match
• Team Draw: Leaders of each team will draw lots.

Match Timings:

• Setup Time: 3 minutes (login, personal equipment, seating, etc.)
• Waiting: 1 minute
• Player Preparation: 1 minute
• Match Duration: 5 minutes

All Finalists will receive:

• Round-trip flight tickets to Manila, Philippines
• Hotel accommodation during the event period

FWC Server Character DB Back-Up Date:

• October 2, 2024, during maintenance

Event Activities During the Tournament:

• Coupon Codes: To be revealed during the livestream on official channels
• Boosting Events: To be announced later

Important Notes:

• Any rules not explicitly mentioned will follow the FWC PvP Ranking Tournament rules.
• If any of the top 6 teams cannot participate in the finals, the next highest-ranking team will take their place.
• Players are responsible for securing their own visa for travel to the Philippines. While the Philippines is visa-friendly for many countries, some participants may need to apply through the Philippine Embassy.
• Finalists must provide personal information for flight and accommodation bookings. (Personal information consent forms will be distributed directly to the finalists.)
• Players who win prize money must provide their personal banking details for the transfer; the money cannot be sent to another person’s account.
• Nationality is determined by the country that issued the player’s passport, regardless of the country of residence.
• Prize money will be transferred through a Philippine bank after local taxes are deducted. Winners are responsible for any taxes due in their home country, and the company is not liable for any tax-related issues.

Disqualification Conditions:

• Failure to provide personal information for flight and accommodation bookings for any team member.
• Engaging in any form of abuse or behavior that can be deemed abusive during the PvP preliminaries.
• Deliberate disruption of the event.
• If all team members cannot gather at the final venue.
• If any or all team members are replaced with others.
• Playing using someone else’s account or personal information.
• Engaging in any other actions that go against the event’s intended spirit.

Permanent Disqualification and Future Ban:

• If a player fails to participate in the finals after flight and accommodation arrangements are made (No-Show), they will be banned from future Flyff Universe events. This not only disrupts the event but also takes away opportunities from other players.

Final Setup Information:

• Finalists must complete their character setup by the DB Back-up date listed above. No additional character DB back-ups will be provided for fairness.
• Some items may be restricted or provided for balance purposes during the tournament.
• The final bracket draw will be held on-site.
• Intentional disconnection or shutting down the PC during the match will result in a forfeit of that round for the responsible team.
• Intentional disruption of the match will lead to a forfeit of the tournament.
• Tournament staff will announce setup times to participants on the day of the event. Any issues caused by players after the setup time will not be accommodated.
• All players must actively participate in the entire FWC schedule, including media interviews, sponsor-related filming, and advertisements.
• Personal schedules outside of the event are not permitted for safety and operational reasons. Any issues resulting from personal activities will not be the responsibility of the organizers.

Drug Testing for E-Sports in the Philippines:

• GAB representatives will conduct drug tests on the top two teams after the event concludes.The Games and Amusements Board, a Philippine agency that regulates and supervises professional sports and related activities, will require the FINAL 4 PARTICIPANTS to undergo drug testing via urine.Any participant who tests positive for any type of drug will not be allowed to play and will be automatically disqualified from the tournament. However, players may present a certificate stating that the prohibited drugs in the Philippines are legal for use in their country of origin.Please be advised that the use of drugs and/or marijuana is prohibited in the Philippines, and bringing them into the country can result in imprisonment.
